We are in the midst of a public health crisis, and the safety of our audience and performers is paramount. Whereas proximity and physical touch have been key features of our work, COVID has changed everything. SONDERimmersive believes none the less that live art is invaluable for emotional health and connection within a community. Using safety for all as a rigorous parameter, SONDERimmersive continues to think outside of the box as we make live art.

Safety precautions specific to Hemingway & The Byrd:
- Given the increase in Omicron infections, we hade delayed our January 15th event to May 7th, when the weather is warmer
- Cytybyrd Cafe is walled with large windows that we will keep open during the show, creating a level of air flow comparable to an outdoor event
- All performers and staff are fully vaccinated and boosted
- There are seating options apart from the main table that can be reserved for particularly sensitive patrons
