URGENT CALL to work with SONDERimmersive in a re-imagining of their immersive work The Chocolatier, which was paused in the Spring of 2020 because of the pandemic.
Call is for performers of all performance backgrounds, gender and sexual identities, body types, racial and ethnic backgrounds to play a supportive character aged 50-70+.
This is an immersive work of physical theatre, requiring proactive creative artistry, movement improvisational prowess, and fluidity between naturalistic and stylized performance. We are looking for dynamic artists to contribute to characters and stories, performed through both movement and spoken text.
Professional performance experience, strong communication, collaboration, physical theatre experience, acting, and contemporary dance technique and choreography training are a plus. We are interested in actors who are open to exploring abstract movement, dancers who are interested in narrative based performance, and everyone in between. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about being a part of SONDERimmersive's unique style of performance and are eager to contribute to a highly collaborative creative process.

Weekends starting mid September, running through the month of October.

Performers will be paid a rehearsal honorarium and a modest per-performance fee

- Must be available for afternoon/evening rehearsals on Saturday's and Sunday's as well as some weekday rehearsals during the day and or/evening, About 40-50 rehearsal hours
